my boyfriend wouldn’t help me with the money (even though he was excited that i was having an abortion). i had to use the money given to me by my parents for my books that semester for the abortion. so i had to go without books, quite creatively, for a semester.
i’m happy abortion exists, and i will fight to the death to keep it accessible for all women, everywhere.
foolishly, i was not as careful with my contraceptive method, and became pregnant whilst smack in the middle of nursing school. i was in no position to be responsible for a child.
